The resort town of Byala is situated in the north-eastern part of Bualgaria in the region of Varna. This resort town is an administrative centre of community having the same name - Byala.

The town is located between two major airports of Varna and Burgas within the quickly developing area, where many international company invest into various projects - hotels, terminals for yachts, golf courses, residential buildings with apartments, villas, restaurants, and cafes. Byala is centre of the region famous for its traditions of grapes growing and winemaking. Enjoying its crystal blue sea, sandy beaches, and prosperous wine branch, Byala is becoming more and more popular in terms of demand for residential property and purchase of such.
Founded in the third century, Byala has interesting history. There still can be seen the ruins of ancient fortress and historical white cliffs (the name of the town comes from the word meaning “white” in Bulgarian) surrounding the isolated sandy beach and containing the remains of dinosaurs. The northern beach is known for its wonderful white sand and beautiful lagoons. The central beach is the most preferable, for it is visited by many tourists and has large number of restaurants, water rides and other amusement facilities. The yacht hithe located within the town is the only facility of the kind on the southern coast.
In the first place, Byala is a seaside resort with unique combination of gorgeous sandy beaches 80 m wide stretching for over 3 km and a broad-leaved forest. Favorable pleasant temperature of the seawater and the air offer perfect conditions for proper rest, preventive treatment of many diseases, and recovery. In 1892 in the north-western part of the town there was found a marble column cap, which used to be a part of a Roman fortress. The other part of the fortress represents a wall of the currently operating Holy Assumption Church.
Besides, Byala is the town known for its traditions of grapes growing and winemaking, including the making of wonderful wine called Dimyat. There is also a tasting room in the town. Today Byala is a pleasant seaside resort with wide beach line and numerous holiday houses. The resort of Byala is unique combination of gorgeous sandy beaches and a broad-leaved forest. Many tourists who have visited Byala compare it with Cote d'-Azur; probably, it is due to the fact that the town is located within the hilly area and enjoys wonderful sea view with incredible scenes of sunset and sunrise. The last hills of the Stara Planina Mountains stretch at the distance of 6 km to the south from Byala, while the combination of the mountains and the sea makes this place unique.
