Bulgaria - the promised land

WHAT IS OUR LIFE? THE DUST THAT WE ARE USED TO, SMOG, TRAFFIC JAMS AND PROBLEMS WITH PARKING. SUSPICIOUS LOOK AND TASTE OF FOOD AND WATER. IDENTICAL HOUSES IN ‘DOMITORY’ AREAS… AND THIS IS OUR BALTIC CLIMATE!.. AND PRICES FOR REAL ESTATE PASS ALL UNDERSTANDING!.. RUNNING AWAY FROM ALL THIS IS SO MUCH DESIRED - GOING SOMEWHERE, WHERE THE SUN IS SHINING AND WARMS UP, WHERE THE AIR IS CLEAN AND FRESH, AND OF COURSE THE SEA AND THE MOUNTAINS ARE NEAR. WHERE PEOPLE ARE NOT SO NERVOUS. AND FINALLY, WHERE THE PRICE FOR HOUSING IS MORE REASONABLE! YOU SAY THAT IT IS TOO MUCH TO DREAM ABOUT? WELL, WHY DO YOU THINK SO…
Yes, there is such a place. It was undeservedly forgotten, and mostly unknown. There was a time when survey squads came here to depict Spain or France, Italy or Germany or some other picturesque country. But it still didn’t attract much attention. Until recent times.
The time has come to amend this misunderstanding.
Well, it is Bulgaria. This country is not only fabulously beautiful. This country is agro-touristic: it produces ecologically pure products, which will be enough to feed the whole Europe. Also it offers the same useful rest, sea and mountain resorts.
There can’t be a grey, cold or rainy weather here because the sun is shining the whole year round. It can’t be too hot because the sea is near. The climate is mild, means it is warm but not hot. It can be characterized as pleasant. The hottest place here is in the south, where Bulgaria borders on Greece. Here is a subtropical climate. And everywhere is the sea. Lakes and rivers. Mountains and valleys. Vineyards. The local sun heals asthma and many other respiratory diseases. In winter that lasts here for nearly two months, it can’t be colder than seven-eight degrees below zero. The rest of time, by our standards, is late spring or summer.
Oh yes. In Bulgaria you still can find lots of cafes and restaurants with tasty and inexpensive food. And local people are the real revelation for cold-resistant Baltic soul: people here are surprisingly well-wishing and open for communication. To avoid the culture shock we should warn you: in Bulgaria it is natural for neighbors to look after you house while you are absent. If somewhere near you home the grapes (cheese, wine - doesn’t matter) has ripened, and you don’t have it - you should wait for guests with the present. Maybe it is the matter of Bulgarian heart that is always warmed with the sun rays, and meeting unsociable, cheerless man in this country is like nonsense. But to come to the aid in a hard minute is as normal here, as greet each other.
A nuance that seems exceptional for the former soviet country: in Bulgaria Russian-speaking person is not the KGB agent with bear on a leash and a bottle of vodka in the pocket, it is just your Slavic brother. That is why, first of all, Bulgarians are also Slavs, and secondly, 120 years ago Russian forces delivered the country from Turkish yoke. And Bulgarians have never forgotten about this.
As for creature comforts, there are as many of them as in any other civilized country. Super-, hyper- and techno markets. The large market of cars from Germany, Italy, France. The country is developed at speeds that really wonder and make even envy a bit. European investors look at it with growing interest… It is great for a businessman to buy a building for office and work with utmost comfort, feeling unprecedented fit of energy. And it is convenient in sense of business-communications: you can arrive to any European country in two hours of airplane flight.
In short, Bulgaria is great country in all senses. And having rest here is also great. You can go to the seashore or have rest on mountain ski resort. And why not live here at all - acquire own apartments or house and come here to enjoy the sunny summer or ski in winter during the vacation or on holidays? With family, if you have it, with close friends or business partners. By the way, more and more solvent customers not only buy real estate in Bulgaria, but also move here for living - to the house with balcony looking to the sea, under mild sun rays. To the right hand are mountains, to the left - subtropics. And, of course, the sea.
