Asparuhovo

Situated in the south-east part of Varna, Asparuhovo is one of the five regions the city is divided into. It is bounded by the Black Sea to the breakwater, port of Varna, the railway area, north junction of Asparuhov Bridge, north coast of Lake of Varna, the north - east border of the village of Zvezditsa, and the north border of Avren Municipality.

Asparuhovo covers two residential districts (Asparuhovo and Galata) and five smaller residential areas - Zelenika,Borovets North, Borovets South, Rakitnika, Resort area "Surf". The municipality is in Asparuhovo District. The population is 24 000 people, on area of 2.4 sq.m. There are two hospital, two bank branches, two churches, three chaples, two community centres, tax department, police department, firefighting department, social assistance, seven schools, four kinder gardens and two nurseries.
